Another year, another wave of cafe and eatery openings in the region.

If you love food and live in the Geelong region, it’s likely your ‘must-try’ list of new restaurants, cafés and coffee spots probably takes up your phone’s entire storage capacity by now. They just keep coming, and we’re living for it.

Despite the seemingly eternal uncertainty bestowed upon the region this year, we’ve seen a slew of new businesses pop up all over town – and we have been very, very impressed. So in no particular order, here are the best café and restaurant openings that Geelong has seen in 2021.
