Blackman’s Brewery is hosting an outdoor cinema next month with some absolute classics

One pizza and a pint, please?

They say the third time’s the charm. After originally announcing a cinema night back in September, only to have it postponed twice due to Victoria’s return to lockdown, Blackman’s Brewery is bringing a unique outdoor cinema experience to Torquay over four weeks in April with a series of absolute cracking films.

One of our favourite spots for enjoying a bev on the coast, Blackman’s will launch the cinema on Friday, April 9 with the 1998 American adventure comedy-drama film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and continue weekly with a brilliant lineup of 90s coming-of-age film Dazed and Confused on April 16, The Broken Lizard’s 2001 American comedy Super Troopers on April 23, and Tarantino’s 90’s classic Pulp Fiction on April 30.

Teaming up with Geelong’s amazing new luxury outdoor cinema supplier Luna Hire, moviegoers will be able to fetch a bean bag or luxury deck chairs and plonk themselves beneath Blackman’s marquee and in front of some of the world’s most iconic screen productions. The heaters will be on and there’s be blankets available you feel the coastal chill.

As part of your ticket, which are $65 each, you’ll receive entry to the outdoor cinema space where you’ll be blessed with the likes of Johnny Depp, Ben Affleck, Matthew McConaughey, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, and Samuel L. Jackson on the big screen alongside a pizza, chips and a pint.

Tickets can be found here, or available through the brewery (phone, email or drop in) with no booking fee.
