Paul Tesselaar, a third-generation flower farmer and the visionary behind Kabloom, expresses his excitement at witnessing the festival evolve into a celebration of nature, creativity, and community. He remarks, “As a third-generation flower farmer, I’m thrilled to see the Kabloom Festival blossom into a vibrant celebration of nature, creativity, and community that just gets bigger and better every year. We have worked hard to craft a festival that gives people something unique to do in Victoria during autumn and that delivers a bit of magic and whimsy outdoors in the majestic Dandenong Ranges.”

This year’s entertainment lineup features the world-renowned Circus Oz, captivating audiences with daily shows amidst the flower fields. Audiences can expect a spellbinding spectacle, blending flower fairies, sprites, and pixies with sensational circus acts celebrating the wonders of nature.

Throughout the festival, Circus Side Shows will showcase woodland sprites performing a medley of mesmerising acts, promising thrills and amusement for visitors of all ages. Attendees can also partake in Circus Workshops led by Ruccis Circus, offering opportunities to learn new skills and unleash their inner acrobat.

For young imaginations, Magical Fairy Garden’s Teague will regale audiences with enchanting tales of the Silvan Glade, fostering a love for folklore and storytelling. Additionally, Becky’s fantastical bubble show promises to fill the air with magic and wonder, captivating audiences with a kaleidoscope of soapy bubbles.

During the school holidays, visitors can drum up the fun with Kofi Kunkpe Drumming and Full Circle Drumming, offering rhythmic delights for all ages. The Easter Long Weekend brings an exciting challenge with the Easter Rabbit Hunt, where participants can embark on a quest for rabbits and claim prizes for their efforts.

To enhance the experience, tractor trains depart regularly from the Flower Station, offering breathtaking views of the farm and insightful audio commentary on flower cultivation. Wheelchair-friendly rides are available, with individuals with limited mobility and their carers enjoying complimentary access.

Culinary delights from around the world await food enthusiasts, while Melbourne’s premiere face painting artists stand ready to transform visitors into superheroes, fairy princesses, and more.

Tickets for the Kabloom Festival of Flowers start at $23.50 for adults, with children 16 and under granted complimentary entry when accompanied by an adult. All ticketing options are available for purchase from the festival’s official website.
