Adventure Park's Winter Glow is returning and tickets are on sale now!
Following the success of its inaugural event last year, Aventure Park are once again giving families, couples and friends a chance to explore a dazzling glowing wonderland with the return of its sell-out event ‘Winter Glow’.
Taking inspiration from their ever-popular Christmas Festival of Lights, Winter Glow will see the venue transform into a frosty winter wonderland with more snow, more rides, more light installations and bigger fire twirling and ice sculpting displays than last year.
Stay up to date with what’s happening in and around the region here.
Arriving just in time for the June-July school holidays (and for Christmas in July), the event will run from 17 – 19 June, and from 23 June – 10 July.
From 3:30pm until 8:30pm, guests can enjoy daily snow showers, dazzling magical and immersive light installations, spectacular fire-twirling and ice-sculpting displays from local artists, and plenty of comfort food and alpine-appropriate drinks.
Building on last year’s event, this year there will be two massive snow play zone where attendees can make snow angels, build snowmen and for some, touch snow for the first time. There will also be a new snow flurry experience with realistic falling snow.
Putting their Christmas lights to good use, there will also be a whopping 2.7 million shimmering lights illuminating Geelong’s night sky, plus hundreds of glittering installations around the park and even UV face painting for anyone who wants to get their glow on. It’s also a great excuse to head on in if you missed out on the memserising Christmas lights back in December.

While the water rides won’t be operating (it’s bloody cold remember), the park will be running a bunch of dry rides including the new air balloons and tea cups, along side the Ferris Wheel, Wave Swinger, Crazy Coaster, Red Baron, Carousel, and Little Buggy Speedway, which will all be covered by your entry price. There will also be mini-golf running for those of you who want to put your putting skills to the test.
As for the food, think roasted marshmallows, hot chocolate, spiced cider and mulled wine, all promising to keep you warm while the kids decorate cookies to take home as a souvenir treat.
Entry to the festival will set you back just $$30-$35, with kids under 90cm free.
BYO warm clothes, gloves and gumboots for those keen to jump in the snow.
This event was a sell out in 2021, book early to avoid disappointment.
Adventure Park’s Winter Glow runs from June 17 to June 19 and from June 23 to July 10. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
