Taking over the Skyline Terrace at Fed Square, this family-friendly magical snow-covered winter wonderland has everything you need to embrace the winter chill with ice skating, food trucks and pop-up bars, as well as a magical igloo village and daily snow showers.

The outdoor ice-skating rink is definitely a highlight, with skate passes available for 45 minutes, and while the magic igloos (complete with comfy armchairs, soft cushions and twinkling fairy lights) are enough to get us there, it’s the comfort food that will make us stay. Think dirty fries, mac & cheese croquettes, lobster and prawn rolls, giant pretzels, decadent hot chocolate, wintery cocktails and there’s even an Espresso Martini-flavoured chocolate fudge dipping sauce to use with brownies, berries and marshmallows. It’s almost too good to be true.

The free-to-enter event will kick off on Thursday, May 13 and run through until Sunday, August 29, allowing you plenty of time to round up the squad and road trip up to Melbourne for a magical day out. Ice skating starts at $10 for toddlers, $18 for children and $26 for adults. Pre-bookings are now open if you’d like to get in early for a date.
