The Piccadilly Market is returning to the Geelong Racecourse for another epic twilight event.
One of the bright sparks of Geelong’s nights is returning to the Geelong Racecourse with the Piccadilly Market hosting another epic night edition.
From 5pm – 9pm on Friday, 8 March at the Geelong Racing Club, the Piccadilly Night Market is all about supporting the local makers in the region, while also gifting locals and visitors alike a thriving destination to while away a beautiful Friday night.

A design market at its heart, the Piccadilly Market is perfect for those wanting to support local businesses in one place, giving shoppers the opportunity to talk to the makers and get a feel for bespoke handmade products. There is nothing quite like purchasing something from the person who made it – especially when they’re based within our vibrant local community.
After its ridiculously popular run of night markets over the last couple years, alongside all its other events, the market has clearly found its sweet spot and is once again taking on a night glow this month. The night edition will see the beloved Geelong Racing Club transform into the kind of shopping wonderland worth getting excited about, tempting you off the couch with an epic program of food, drinks, live entertainment and artisan market stalls.

This time the market will be hosting a bunch of stalls spanning Geelong’s most talented jewellers, fashion designers, illustrators, artists, food producers, and makers, all be there to provide you with quirky buys and artsy gift ideas for all those upcoming birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions for the year.
Alongside all the products up for grabs, this night market will also see a fully licensed bar and other drink choices from fabulous stall holders, plenty of seating, a bunch of glow in the dark kids activities and fun games, and live entertainment from Acoustic StopOuts, making this quite the outing for all. If that wasn’t enough, there’s also free face painting, chawk drawing areas, corn hole board games and more. As for dinner, there will be food trucks galore at this month’s edition, including both savoury and sweet options
Oh, and it’s dog friendly! So bring that adorable pooch along with your family and friends for the perfect way to start the weekend.
Entry to this night market is $5 for 16+, free for kids Under 16 and there is plenty of free parking. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Black Dog Institute in honour of Jonah Lear.
