Westfield Living Centres will open earlier and close later, helping busy customers to tick last-minute items off their Christmas lists.
With just two days until Christmas, all Westfield Living Centres across Victoria – including Geelong – are offering extended trading hours and additional centre services, providing flexibility and convenience for busy customers as they wrap up their festive season purchases.
Shoppers in Geelong can visit Westfield until 9pm tonight and up to 10pm tomorrow (Friday) night to find those last-minute gifts, shop fresh produce and refreshments for the Christmas table, or give the gift of choice with a Westfield Gift Card. If you’re over Melbourne way, customers can visit Doncaster, Fountain Gate and Southland up until midnight, meaning you’ve really got no excuse not to get everything done in time for Santa’s arrival on Sunday.

“The final countdown to Christmas is on, and we want to make last-minute shopping for our customers as easy as possible with our extended trading hours,” says Scentre Group General Manager Brand Experience Activation and Community, Jacqui Waine.
“By opening earlier and closing later, it provides the opportunity to seek out those last gifts, source the freshest produce for the festive spread and gather those final essentials for holiday celebrations.
“Westfield is the one-stop destination for festive needs, and we’re focused on providing customers with the flexibility they need at this busy time of year.”
Extended trading hours in Victoria:
Thursday 22 December:
- Westfield Airport West, and Plenty Valley will trade from 8am-9pm
- Westfield Knox and Doncaster will trade from 8am-10pm
- Westfield Geelong will trade from 9am-9pm
- Westfield Fountain Gate and Southland will trade from 8am-midnight
Friday 23 December:
- Westfield Geelong, Airport West, Plenty Valley, and Knox will trade from 8am-10pm
- Westfield Doncaster, Fountain Gate and Southland will trade from 8am-midnight
Saturday 24 December (Christmas Eve):
- Westfield Geelong, Airport West, Plenty Valley, Knox, Fountain Gate and Southland will trade from 8am-5pm
- Westfield Doncaster will trade from 8am-6pm
