The perfect day out for both humans and doggos.
If you’re anything like us, your dog is basically your child. And just like any child, they deserve the best that you can give them – and that includes glorious day outs and fun events on the weekends.
The key takeaways
- Funk’n’Fest is the newest festival to hit the region
- Kylie Auldist headlines the inaugural event
- The festival takes place in Ballarat on Sunday, February 21
Giving you an excuse to get out and treat your loyal and fluffy, four-legged best friend, Newtown’s new(ish) dog bakery, Pure Paws Dog Bakery, is hosting a glorious event tomorrow, celebrating some of the best things in life.
Titled ‘Pups and Plants’, the event combines doggos, indoor plants from Wet My Plant, SnapThat photobooth to take pics of you and your furry friend, coffee from Miss Buzz and cocktails from The Cocktail Cart. You couldn’t have asked for a better day out.
Of course, there will also be animal treats, pupcakes and puppaccinos from Pure Paws Dog Bakery, local business The Hugo Edit will be selling beautiful handmade dog accessories and there will be giant games set up (giant jenga, giant connect four, cornhole) for the humans while there’s plenty of room for your pooch to play.
Running Saturday, May 8 from 10am to 2pm, pop along with your pooch (or without) to help the bakery raise funds for Geelong Animal Rescue and Bali Dog Halfway House, two charities very close to their heart.
Prepare for the best afternoon ever at 406 Pakington Street, Newtown. Check out the event here.
