“As a family-owned business, with no investors, we have poured our hearts, souls, sweat and tears into BrewiColo and have enjoyed every second of it! We have loved producing award-winning beers, hosting events, meeting and getting to know so many people. But as anyone in this industry knows it takes dedication, hard work, time and effort to keep a brewery operating and we have reached a point where it’s no longer sustainable for us to continue to operate,” the business shared on social media.
“A lot has happened both professionally and personally since we opened the brewery doors over 5 years ago. We’ve celebrated multiple beer awards, had a hell of a good time, navigated the business through COVID, relentless increases in government taxes, reforms and new schemes and now the latest economic conditions. Personally, we have grown from a family of 3 to 6 which is a major reason why we have made this decision.”
“Upon reflection we have mixed emotions, whilst it was not an easy decision to make, we are excited to spend more quality time as a family and create those special memories while our kids still want to spend time with us.”
