In response to this huge demand, Capaldi has just announced a second Melbourne date which will see the Scottish singer-songwriter perform at Rod Laver Arena on Friday 14 July, a day prior to the now-sold out show at Rod Laver on July 15.

The news comes as Capaldi announces that his new album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent will be released in 19 May 2023 on EMI Records. His 2023 tour will see him arrive with a host of new songs to perform from the new album, alongside crowd favourites.
Capaldi made his eagerly awaited return in September with new single Forget Me, marking his third consecutive UK No. 1 hit and giving fans a taste of new music to come.
The new record will follow his 2019 full-length debut, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent — which peaked at #3 on the Official New Zealand Top 40 Albums and featured the hit singles Someone You Loved and Before You Go.
