The first restaurant from owners Honey Lynne Caranguian, Kristine Jane Alvarez, Abegail Almonte and Richcy Sigre, Kalye Marinas Cafe and Seafood Hub marks Geelong’s very first spot for Filipino seafood boil, bringing their hands-on dining experience to the region.

An experience we didn’t know we needed, offering delicious boils of lobster, prawns, baby octopus, whole or half half swimmer crab, clams, mussels, king crab legs and/or half mud crab cooked in three different sauces (you choose!) with the option of add-ons. You just need to choose your seafood, then your sauce, from original butter garlic, Cajun sauce or the restaurant’s specialty sauce. Add-ons include corn, potatoes, sausages, garlic rice or plain rice. It’s delivered to the table, ready to be spilled onto your paper-topped table and devoured with abandon.

Alongside the seafood boil menu (the clear hero), the venue also offers an all-day menu featuring fish and chips, brunch items, coffees, cold drinks and Filipino desserts. Looking at brunch, highlights include the big breakfast, rainbow pancake, bao, while other items include fried chicken wings, fried softshell crab, seafood spring rolls, Tapsilog, as well as kids meals.

As for the fit-out, it’s a lively and bright seafood hub, with surfboards on the ceiling, fishing nets and seafood murals donning the walls.

If you’re done reading and ready to get your boil on, head over to Shop 4, 112 Pakington Street, Geelong West. Open 11am to 8pm daily. Keep up to date with the latest from them restaurant here
