Calling all Creedence Clearwater Revival aficionados! Easter weekend just got a whole lot more exciting with the spectacular return of Country Fest Queensland, now in its second year, and it’s bringing none other than American country rock maestro John Fogerty for an exclusive Australian performance.
After an absence from Down Under since 2012, Fogerty is set to take the stage at Country Fest for his only show in Australia.

The legendary artist plans to treat the audience to over two hours of music, including a set of his iconic solo songs, followed by a second set featuring timeless Creedence Clearwater Revival classics. This marks the first time since 1972 that Australian fans will have the chance to experience live renditions of CCR hits from the man himself.
For the uninitiated, John Fogerty stands as a true American treasure. His leadership of Creedence Clearwater Revival produced a groundbreaking sound, blending blues, country, pop, rockabilly, R&B, swamp boogie, and Southern fried rock ‘n’ roll. A Grammy winner and a member of both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Fogerty’s influence is immeasurable.
Among the multitude of hits in Fogerty’s repertoire are gems like “Centerfield,” “Proud Mary,” “Susie Q,” “Fortunate Son,” “Born on the Bayou,” “Bad Moon Rising,” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” showcasing his diverse musical prowess.

Country Fest QLD, hosted at the picturesque Dittmann Bull Pit in Bloomsbury, promises an outstanding lineup for Queensland’s largest annual country music festival. Pre-sale tickets for this epic weekend go on sale Monday, January 22, at 8:00 AM AEST, with general tickets available from Wednesday, January 24, at 8:00 AM AEST. Camping tickets are also on offer for those looking to immerse themselves fully in the festival experience.
