Taiwanese indie pop band Accusefive announce first-ever Australia tour

Words by Staff Writer

The ever-popular Mando-pop group Accusefive 告五人 will be making their way to Australia.

This June, fans are in for a treat as the beloved Taiwanese three-piece Accusefive makes their way to Australia for the very first time. Set to play in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth, the band will showcase their versatile talent and impressive songwriting skills on their debut world tour.

Formed in April 2017, Accusefive quickly gained traction in the music industry with their captivating melodies and diverse music style. The band, consisting of Pan Yun-An on male lead vocals and guitar, Quan-Qing on female lead vocals, and Richard Lin on drums, made their mark with a demo version of Miss You Day And Night, which garnered attention online.

Their debut EP Let Go further solidified their presence, earning them the prestigious Best New Artist Award at the Golden Indie Music Awards in 2018.

Since their inception, Accusefive has been actively performing live, accumulating over a hundred performances at various venues ranging from commercial shows to music festivals and campus concerts. In December 2018, they held their first solo performance, drawing a sold-out crowd of two thousand fans at Legacy Max Taipei, despite not having released a full album at that time.

One of Accusefive’s strengths lies in their ability to seamlessly blend different music genres, including folk rock, pop rock, indie Rock, synth pop, dance pop, Ballad, Electro, and New wave. The dynamic interplay between Pan Yun-An and Quan-Qing’s vocals creates captivating harmonies that resonate with audiences, delivering a healing and powerful musical experience.

The band’s latest album, 2023’s We Will Be Fine, helped capture the hearts of fans across Taiwan and China, as well as the rest of the world. They’ll be bringing all their top hits and more to Australian stages this June.
