La Cachette burst onto the Geelong dining scene in June 2021, swiftly establishing itself as a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts. Founded by Matt Podbury, who drew inspiration from his experiences in Lyon, La Cachette is all about offering quality French-inspired cuisine at affordable prices.

This locally-owned gem prides itself on supporting local producers and continually changing its menu every three weeks to showcase the best of seasonal ingredients. With a fixed-price menu, an exceptional wine list, and a relaxed ambiance, La Cachette has quickly earned acclaim. In their first full year, they snagged a Good Food Guide Hat, secured a spot in the Herald-Sun Delicious 100 in 2022, and recently ranked 4th in the Addy’s GT Top 100. Talk about making an impression!
