The chosen act will perform on The Grove, Strawberry Fields' largest live music stage.

Think your band is ready to graduate from sticky carpet venues and instead play in front of 12,000 people? This year, Strawberry Fields has teamed up with PBS 106.7FM to present Victorian Live Music Acts with the once-in-a-lifetime chance to take the stage at the highly anticipated Strawberry Fields festival, scheduled for November 17 to 19 in Tocumwal.

Strawberry Fields

  • When: November 17 to 19
  • Where: Tocumwal, New South Wales
  • Applications due: September 14

This collaboration will give live artists and acts an extraordinary chance to apply for a coveted spot in the festival’s esteemed international lineup. A panel comprising Strawberry Fields and PBS members will evaluate the applications based on originality, creativity and their alignment with the essence of Strawberry Fields and its vibrant community.

“Strawberry Fields is dedicated to supporting the independent and live music scene in Melbourne,” Festival Director Tara Medina explains. “Our roots lie in the underground, and we take pride in being the first to give emerging artists like the Teskey Brothers, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Floating Points the opportunity to perform at a bush party.”

Additionally, they will receive a PBSFM on-air campaign valued at $550, running from July 1 all the way through to June 30 2024, to support their live shows or music release. The selected artist will also be awarded a PBS prize pack that includes a t-shirt and more. Live Music Applications are now open, and submissions are due on Thursday, September 14 2023.

After their unfortunate cancellation in October 2022 due to flooding, Strawberry Fields is set to make a grand return to the banks of the mighty Murray River.

The emerging artist as chosen by Strawberry Fields will be joining the lineup along with Scottish producer and DJ, Denis Sulta. He’ll be gracing the Wildlands with his unforgettable energy and musical prowess, along with other acts that have yet to be announced.

Applications are open, register your interest by heading here.
