This immersive space experience is on for a limited season at the Emporium from June 17 until August 28. Explore space exploration’s past, present and future with this exhibition that brings space to life through a combination of science and the latest cutting-edge projection technology – coming together to tell the story of space and space exploration like never before.

Developed in conjunction with the U.S. Space & Rocket Centre and NASA George C. Marshall Space Flight Centre, Neighbourhood Earth is a magnificent, vast experience that incorporates 360 degree projection, 8.1 surround sound, 14 screens and a giant, projection mapped dome to create an epic cinematic environment.
With real life space paraphernalia from notable missions, including spacesuits supplied by NASA and model spacecraft, learn about the history and future of space exploration through interactive touchscreen displays. Perfect for all ages, this is a great way to learn about the history of space travel, from the Space Race to the present. It’s also a great way to experience the beauty of outer space and the breathtaking landscapes of our closest celestial neighbours … all without having to shell out millions to Mr Musk for a Space X flight.
Sessions last 90 minutes and there are time slots for entry every half hour from 11am – with last entry at 6:30 on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and last entry at 7:30 on Thursdays and Fridays. Tickets start at $30 for adults, $22 for students and $17 for children.
