Since debuting back in 2018, SUPERFUZZ has grown to become a well-loved event and crucial stepping stone for emerging bands in the Geelong region.
The all-ages festival is a local music initiative created by young people to support underage music. With two festivals already under their belt, providing a live launchpad for bands like Smoked and Overdue, Green Blanket, Sirens, among others, the team at Superfuzz aim to support the music scene of Geelong and surrounds, showcasing the freshest tunes from up and coming rock outfits.

Returning to Platform Arts for the third instalment this year after a brief hiatus, SUPERFUZZ festival is back, once again reinforcing the significance of young, up and coming bands; providing them with an opportunity to perform for an audience.
Kicking off at 12pm on Saturday, April 2 SUPERFUZZ will be host to a variety of fresh, zesty sounds, sure to melt your face. Heading up this year’s lineup is Geelong surf-rockers Mundane Jane who formed back in 2020; Bellarine-based psychedelic dream-pop band Sirens known for their combination of psychedelic, progressive rock and dream pop music that makes you feel instantly immersed in their world; Geelong punk-rock band Neuritis, Geelong’s Violet; Geelong punk/grunge/garage rock/surf rock band Slimy and the Fishstix; Geelong’s emotive, heartfelt and wild Paraquay; and Torquay lo-fi indie rocker De Porsal.

While designed to support underage bands, all-ages are welcome to the rare event which passes the mic to some of the best live and local noise from the Geelong, Surfcoast and Melbourne region for your listening pleasure.
Situated on Little Malop Street in the heart of Geelong’s CBD, Platform Arts has proved the perfect spot for this annual event, showcasing some of the city’s best new artists and performers. The venue has been a prime spot for local musos to have their music heard, especially following the unfortunate closure of The Workers Club earlier this year.
It all goes down Saturday, April 2 2022 with doors opening from 12PM. This is not a festival to be missed!
