Royale With Cheese is heading to Geelong’s infamous 1920s concert hall this March.
If you’re looking to revive the 90s and relive distant memories rocking out to some of the greatest rock, pop, pop-punk and grunge hits of the decade, then this is one gig you’re going to want to add to your calendar.
Australia’s premier 90s cover band Royale With Cheese will be going balls to the wall this December when they hit the Wool Exchange in Geelong on March 4 for one hell of a tribute to the music that rocked a generation.
Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.
Amping up the distortion, plucking heavy basslines and belting out your favourite introspective lyrics for a night heavy on nostalgia and good times, these guys will be performing all your favourite 90s rock and pop covers – from Seattle-sound to Grunge to Britpop and all the best Oz Rock from the 90s. Royale With Cheese is not just a covers band – it’s a rollicking 90s party reviving one of the greatest and most influential decades in rock music.
From Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden to Radiohead, Blur and Oasis to Silverchair, You Am I and Screaming Jets to Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Green Day and Blink 182, Royale with Cheese magically weaves all these 90s sounds into a night that’ll have you feeling nostalgic for the last great decade of rock music!
And while rock was no doubt iconic in the 90s, it was also a pretty iconic time for pop so don’t be surprised if this band add in some surprise tracks from the likes of the Spice Girls – they’ve done it before and you can bet it goes off!
