Stephen Luby, an industry heavyweight, boasts an impressive resume that includes contributions to high-profile sketch comedy series like “Full Frontal” and the original “Kath and Kim” series. His success extends to the silver screen with the box office hit, “Crackerjack.”

Ruby Entertainment, a production company he co-founded, continued to flourish, producing telemovies like the Murray Whelan series and the enduring comedy/drama “Bed of Roses,” featuring Kerry Armstrong. Stephen’s work on “The Secret River” earned him the Screen Producers’ Association of Australia’s “Producer of the Year” award and a Logie Award for ‘Most Outstanding Mini-Series or Telemovie.’ Beyond producing, he also shares his expertise as an instructor in the Master of Producing program at the Victorian College of the Arts.

The event will feature an engaging Q&A session with Stephen Luby and Geelong Writer & Filmmaker, Ryan Chamley.

Ryan Chamley is an award-winning writer/director and co-owner of Robot Army Productions. His innovative storytelling continued with “My Friend Anxiety” in 2021, which won “Best Screenplay” at The Hollywood Short Film Festival.
