Beginning on Saturday, January 23rd and running until the 30th, 2021 Sounds Better Together will see a number of Australia’s very best artists come together for a run of COVIDsafe shows at some of Victoria’s most-loved and stunning music venues.

So far four dates have been announced (with more to come) and will see live performances taking place on the Surf Coast, Yarra Valley, Rutherglen, and Mallacoota, putting the spotlight on some of our country’s most revered acts, including the likes of Jimmy Barnes, Tones And I, Missy Higgins, The Teskey Brothers, James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, Vika & Linda, Deborah Conway, Gordi, Didirri, and more.

While the entire series is set to be solid gold, we’re particularly excited to see Mt Duneed Estate included in the list. Hosting the first concert of the series on Saturday, January 23, Geelong will be blessed with performances from Tones and I, Missy Higgins, Gordi and Warrnambool born and bred Didirri.

Other venues include Rochford Wines, All Saints Estate and Mallacoota Oval.

“Live music is integral to the heart and soul of Australia,” explained Michael Gudinski, Mushroom Group Founder & Chairman. “These COVIDSafe concerts may be a little different to what we’re used to but the chance to finally experience live music again is incredibly exciting.”

“Live music has always been an essential part of life in Victoria so it’s exciting to finally be getting back to playing gigs here again,” explained 2021 Sounds Better Together performer Missy Higgins at the program’s official launch. “Hopefully these special shows can be a bit of a thank you to everyone for all the sacrifices they made last year.”

Tickets to all concerts have been capped at $49.90 (plus transaction fees), and are set to go on sale from 12pm on Tuesday, January 19th via the Sounds Better Together website.
