There’s a Christmas themed beer run going down in July

There’s no better time to start training…

If a five-kilometre fun run that doubles as a brewery crawl sounds like something you’d like to get around, then this much-loved event is just for you.

Returning once again, the ever-popular Beer Run is back this July for a special Christmas edition, taking thirsty runners to five different breweries in the city.

The run will kick off on Sunday, July 25 at Bodriggy Brewing Co. and make its way to Stomping Ground, Moon Dog Brewery, and Mountain Goat before finishing up at Burnley Brewing. Guided by a fearless leader, punters will enjoy a beer at each location before running onto the next, with the event expected to take around three hours.

This time around, the run has the theme of ‘Christmas in July’ so you can run in your favourite ugly sweater and Santa hats while listening to Mariah’s infamous Christmas number. Baubles, tinsel and fairy lights are all encouraged and the best dressed will win an amazing prize.

Everyone can meet at the last brewery for a fun-filled after party (Christmas themed, of course!).

Tickets are $55 and includes one beer in each brewery with the last being Christmas themed (five beers in total included per person), a Beer Run bib number, and a novelty Beer Run bottle opener medal when you beat the Grinch to the finish line and save Christmas!
