The world’s largest inflatable jumping castle is coming to Melbourne this year

Get ready for some inflatable madness.

Prepare to embrace your inner child; Big Bounce Australia is bringing their Guinness World Record certified inflatable bouncy castle to cities right across Australia this year.

Dubbed the largest touring inflatable event in the entire world (yes, world!), Big Bounce Australia first landed down under at the end of 2019, right before the pandemic hit. Gearing up for the summer months, the mammoth 1,500 square metre jumping land is making a comeback and will be hitting Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide over the next few months.

Keep up with the latest in entertainment via our website.

The outdoor wonderland is made up of a few different areas, including The Giant, which is a 300m-long inflatable obstacle course with more than 50 obstacles to tackle, from giant red balls to rainbow spirals a zone of inflatable giants, alongside airSPACE which is an 18 metre high inflatable space-themed maze with ball pits and slides.

This is all of course alongside The Bounce House (Guinness World Records approved) which will have you bouncing up, down and off giant slides, ball pits, basketball hoops, climbing frames and beach balls. This year there’s even a Sport Slam, a customized sports arena filled with balls of every size and type you could imagine for dodgeball, basketball, soccer and many other bouncy challenges! There’s also special zones for climbing and a ‘battle zone’ where you can compete against your family and friends.

Ensuring all the good vibes there will also be DJs in the centre to drop the bangers while you’re bouncing around as well as a bunch of food trucks to replenish yourself.

If you’re buying a three-hour ticket then you’ll get unlimited access to The Giant and airSPACE areas of the bouncy world alongside a dedicated time slot on the jumping castle.

Originally slated to kick off in mid-January, the tour now kicks off in Adelaide in mid-Feb before heading to Canberra, West Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle before stopping at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on April 15 until April 24.

It was rumoured that the park would also hit Geelong, so stay tuned. We’ll update you if we hear more.

Tickets are available for adults only sessions, or parent/carer and child sessions. You can find out more here
