Bendigo’s new luxe bar - The Woodhouse - is open for business
A truly stunning new addition to Bendigo’s dining landscape has landed at 101 Williamson Street, and it’s already making waves. The Woodhouse, a contemporary bar and restaurant, opened its doors back in December last year and it has been bringing a taste of North American-inspired luxury to the heart of the city ever since.
Co-owners Paul Pitcher and Tony Panetta are the brains behind this stylish establishment. Fresh from a reconnaissance mission to New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, they’ve infused The Woodhouse with a modern ambience, blending timber, marble, and mood lighting to create an inviting space for patrons to unwind.
“We’ve been inspired by venues in North America and think we’ve nailed what our customers are looking for in a contemporary bar.” co-owner Paul Pitcher tells us. “We’ve created a modern ambience, with timber, marble and mood lighting to add to our restaurant and private dining experience.” adds co-owner Tony Panetta, who recently returned (with Pitcher) from a reconnaissance in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
