The Village Door Café take brunch to a whole new level with their ultimate platters
On Saturday, October 22nd, the passionate, family-owned cafe is hosting a one-off lavish event, with bottomless beer, wine, and cocktails alongside their famous and ever-indulgent breakfast and lunch platters, prepared fresh in their kitchen and made with love.
Running from 3pm to 5pm, cafe patrons can eat and drink until they can’t anymore. There will be two hours of unlimited alcohol from a set menu, including selected wine, beer, spirits and cocktails available while guests fill up the epic Village Door platters. Choose from either the Ultimate Breakfast Platter or opt for the lunch platter if you’re feeling more savoury options.
The aptly titled ‘Ultimate Breakfast Platter’ boasts eggs your way, bacon, krajnski sausage, ćevapi, mushroom, tomato, beans, hash browns and dutch pancakes, with your choice of toppings. There’s lemon and sugar, fresh strawberries, jam and cream, Nutella and ice cream, or maple syrup and ice cream! Honestly, we’d eat this every day if we could.
As for ‘The Village Door Platter’, this one is loaded with all the best bites including Ćevapi, krajnski, pita bread, chips, kupus salata (cabbage salad), garden salad, dips and sauces, with your choice of chicken or calamari.
These platters are limited to one platter between two people at a time, and of course, the team can cater to any dietary requirements necessary.
