Shop for locally-made homewares, jewellery, fashion and fun treats – from a curated line-up of impressive makers and creatives – in one of Geelong’s most gorgeous spaces this weekend.
Located in Newtown, the natural light-filled space at The KO Creative Studio aims to provide an environment for creatives and small businesses to work, connect and be inspired. With a photography studio, an events/gallery space for workshops and classes, and a co-working space, The KO is all about driving the innovation and development of the local community, through creative collaboration.
One such way that we adore is through The Ko’s Christmas market, happening at the studio in Newtown on Sunday, 3 December from 9am to 2:30pm.
Stay up to date with what’s happening in and around the region here.

More than just a mere indoor market, the KO’s market is also a chance to meet the creators face-to-face, with a number of specially curated stalls selling covetable wares from the region’s top makers.
Fast becoming a favourite on the local market circuit, the KO’s market celebrates locally made, handcrafted goods and the ethos behind them – which represents a shift away from mass production and consumption towards distinctive, sustainable goods.
Among the offerings this round include Wiltshire Child, Natural Supply Co, Studio Eter, Pour and Plate, Studio Zali and many more. There will also be coffee from Kilgour Street Grocer, and treats from That Place Patisserie to keep you fuelled while you browse, plus flowers, music, beautiful things to browse and more.
Co-founded by Karina van de Pol and Olivia Fleetwood, The KO Creative Studio is Geelong’s most beautiful co-working, events and creative studio space, which opened back in 2019.
Since returning to their space following a series of lockdowns and closures, The KO has returned with a fire in its belly, passionate about inspiring others with a swathe of stimulating, uplifting and educational events. Based around the pillars of food and wine, art, design and creative business and ideas, events other than markets include the likes of cooking classes, wine tastings and creative workshops.
