The new track, ‘Trippin Up’ is a playful earworm that blankets the listener in a cocoon of sensation that renders them unable to resist the urge to groove along with the track’s whimsical melody. Sonically vibrating between electro-pop and indie-rock, the genre-agnostic band peels back the first layer of what fans can expect out of their next body of work.

Lead singer Sam Hales says: “So pumped to be releasing Trippin Up! It all began with a dive into some aspects of electronic drum production that were so fun to experiment with. Can’t wait to see that drop live baby.”

Following the release of their 2021 #1 ARIA Chart-topping fourth album Love Signs, the band has cemented their place as a dominant force in Australia and is now seeing their reach mushroom out across the globe. The last year has seen the band headlining festivals and selling out tour dates from hemisphere to hemisphere.

So far in 2023, The Jungle Giants have brought their free-spirited antics to the stages at Laneway Festival locally, as well as Florida’s Okeechobee Festival and M3F in Arizona. This week they kicked off a run of headline shows in Mexico before they head back home for the Trippin Up Australia and New Zealand tour run in May and June, which will see The Lazy Eyes and AROHA jump on board to support.
