Highlights include unique jewellery from Jin Ah Jo, premium non-toxic nail polish and skincare from Kester Black, innovative yoga mats from FoldUP, organic skin and hair care from Bush Medijina, fine Japanese ceramics from JDV Store, bespoke kitchen knives from Cut Throat Knives, artisan-made leather goods from Simétrie, and much more.

A highlight will be Melbourne’s own artistic maestro, Georgia Perry, who will grace The Big Design Market with a giant inflatable eye, measuring 5m high and 6m wide, floating below the Royal Exhibition Building dome. Known for her whimsical aesthetic, Perry’s vibrant and playful creations span illustration, graphic design, product design, and animation. Her addition to the event promises a unique and visually stunning experience.

Children are in for a treat with a dedicated kids area curated by Georgia. Brightly painted cubby houses, badge-making, and super fun glasses featuring Georgia’s artwork await the little ones. It’s the perfect spot for engaging downtime and imaginative play, ensuring children of all ages leave with smiles on their faces.

As shoppers indulge in the world of design, they can refuel with a feast of culinary delights crafted by iconic tastemakers from around Australia. From authentic Mexican from La Tortilleria to handcrafted puff pastry creations from Wonder Pies, the options are tantalizing. The lineup includes St. ALi Coffee, La Tortilleria, Wonder Pies, Wonderbao, That’s Amore Cheese, Claw and Tail, and more. The event boasts over 30 brands selling gourmet packaged foods, ensuring the indulgence can continue at home.
