All hail the Queens! The global smash-hit musical, SIX, is returning to Australia next year.

A photo of six women on stage, bathed in vibrant light, says it all. The powerhouse musical, SIX, is gearing up for another whirlwind tour, and the land Down Under is in for a treat!

From the electrifying stages of Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre in August 2024 to the iconic Theatre Royal Sydney in October and the vibrant Playhouse at QPAC in Brisbane come January 2025, the queens are set to rule once again.

Since its dazzling debut in 2017, SIX has become a global sensation, rewriting the rules of musical theatre and captivating audiences of every age. Down under, the Tony Award-winning sensation has smashed records, and now it’s making a triumphant return to Australian stages.

Producer Louise Withers, buzzing with excitement, said, “SIX is truly a global phenomenon, and the record-breaking Australian production enjoyed rapturous acclaim by both critics and audiences alike. The incredible anticipation and demand from fans after achieving the success it did here in Australia on its previous tour has been a major force to bring the phenomenal production back to our stages.”

SIX tells the incredible story of King Henry VIII’s six wives, stepping out of the shadows of their infamous husband to reclaim their narratives. With the penmanship of Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, this modern pop-inspired musical transforms historical figures into fierce and influential pop stars. Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr each take center stage, telling their stories and rewriting history.

SIX The Musical boasts book, lyrics, and music by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, and choreographed by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. The creative team includes Emma Bailey for set design, Gabriella Slade for costume design, Tim Deiling for lighting design, and Paul Gatehouse for sound design.
