Having gifted us ALMA, a contemporary South American shared-style restaurant back in 2017, Felix is the sister restaurant that radiates just as much elegance as ALMA in its own inimitable way.

Thankfully they’re giving dads in lockdown the chance to indulge in an absolute seafood feast with their at home platter.

For $125 you can get King Prawns with potato & avocado salad & Felix cocktail sauce, Oysters Mignonette (Red wine & shallot vinaigrette, Two Mini Lobster Rolls with mayonnaise, chives and house baked ciabatta, Kingfish Crudo with cucumber, herb dressing and shallot and Whipped Tuna & mayo lettuce cups with capers & lemon.

Workers BBQ Feast

The brilliant side hustle of Geelong’s Workers Club, Workers Barbecue is the go-to for an epic BBQ feast, having earned themselves a solid reputation as the home of smoked meats, with a menu featuring the likes of mouth-watering ribs, beef brisket, chicken dippers, and macaroni balls over the years.

For Father’s Day this year, the crew have created two delicious Father’s Day packs filled with delicious eats to heat at home. Woodhouse Cafe Brekky and Lunch Boxes

Tucked away on the busy Belmont High Street strip, Woodhouse cafe is the go-to for your caffeine hit that side of town. They’re also your go-to when it comes to ordering Dad something delicious to tuck into this Sunday with their breaky and lunch boxes.

Packed with all the good stuff, the breaky box comes with egg and bacon roll, smoked salmon bagel, french jaffle, museli cups, Portuguese tart, fruit toast, slice and fruit, while the lunch box takes the flavours up a notch with pulled pork tacos, a burger, falafel sliders, American jaffle, quinoa salad, cake, fruits and beer!

This beautiful cupcakery (who support young people who have a disability to gain workplace skills and experience) is bringing back their famed Father’s Day treat boxes for all those who have a dad with a bit of a sweet tooth.

Geelong really scored big when chef Jesse Hughes (formerly Vue Grand Queenscliff) opened up ALMA, a contemporary South American shared-style restaurant back in 2017. In what was Hughes’ first venture, ALMA has become one of Geelong’s best dining destinations, earning a solid reputation for their South American flavours featuring the best produce served in an unadulterated way, edgy styling and exceptional service.

If you really feel like treating Dad, why not indulge in Alma At Home, with their stunning takeaway feasts.
