Launching on Monday, 23 October, TARRA’s menu is a testament to Demagistris’s love of foraging and his commitment to showcasing the best of local produce. From sea succulents to wild berries, the dishes are a reflection of the vibrant and diverse Bellarine Peninsula.
Guests can expect culinary creations that push boundaries, crafted by Demagistris alongside head chef Ryan James.
Featuring an array of delectable dishes, from Warm Olives infused with aromatic bay leaf, garlic, and a touch of chilli, and Garlic Braised Beef Short Rib, to the irresistible Tiramisu layered with creamy mascarpone and rich Tia Maria, TARRA’s menu really does promise a fusion of familiar favourites and innovative creations. Other menu highlights include freshly shucked oysters, Honey Sticky Glazed Chicken Wings, Baked Scallops, Asian Duck Salad, potato gnocchi, and of course, the selection of Timboon Fine ice cream.
‘Truly memorable dishes’: TARRA is Queenscliff’s impressive new dining destination
TARRA doesn’t just impress with its menu but also offers a bar stocked with an array of local beers, wines, and cocktails. The wine wall is a standout feature, and the cocktail menu takes inspiration from the ocean, delivering creative and refreshing drinks perfect for a summer’s day. Local heroes like Oakdene, Scotchmans Hill, Bellarine Estate, Barwon Heads, Teddy & the Fox gin, and Queenscliff gin take pride of place on the drinks menu.
This exciting addition to the Queenscliff Ferry Terminal redevelopment offers the perfect location for special occasions or leisurely lunches. The official launch of TARRA is set to bring a new dimension to the local food scene, and it’s a must-visit for those who appreciate beachside elegance. Plus, the potential for dolphin sightings is the cherry on top.
TARRA Queenscliff is situated on the ground floor of the new Queenscliff building and will be open from 11:30am to 3pm. For more information and bookings, visit the official website here.
