The R Hotel, previously the Ritz Hotel, is a Geelong heritage building located in the heart of the city.
After sitting dormant for 40 years, it has undergone an extensive makeover and comprehensive renovation and thanks to the redevelopment, the incredible transformation has launched the hotel with apartments over nine floors, looking right over the captivating views of Geelong’s waterfront and city skyline.
Boasting 128 rooms and apartments over nine floors, the hotel also opened up the marvellous Le Café, located within the original heritage building and serving some absolute treats.
With views beholding Austin Park and towards the Eastern beach, this spot is perfect for a quick coffee run, a meeting spot or even a cute family brunch for both guests and the general public.
The café offers dine in or takeaway coffees, tea or cold drinks along with light meals and ‘grab and go’ options. The coffee is rich and beautifully roasted, with a selection of alternative milk substitutes available.
Enjoy a warmly toasted Ham, Cheese and Tomato Focaccia, a Beef and Egg Breakfast Burrito Wrap or even devour an English Muffin, with a poached egg and crispy bacon. Or, if you prefer something sweet to begin the day, the café also has an assortment of selected muffins, banana bread with butter, danish pastries and so much more.

Le Café is situated within the original heritage building on the corner of Corio and Bellarine Street, and is open every day from 7-11am, for light breakfast, brunch and coffee.
