After almost four years, the new album from Sal Kimber and her dynamite band, the Rollin’ Wheel’, has arrived. Thanks to the love of Kickstarter, Sal and co. will be able to take Southern Light out on the road, playing a tidy number of shows in hall and unique venues in rural Victoria.
The album features contributions from Chris Parkinson of The Yearlings, Rebecca Barnard, Tully Sumner, Louise Woodward and Ben Franz (The Waifs), as well as the guitar work of Shane O’Mara. Folk singer and friend John Flanagan will serve as support throughout the tour. His new album is Another Way to Where You Are Going.
