In an exciting turn of events, Spilt Milk, Australia’s premier music, food, and arts festival, has announced the addition of Ruel to its already impressive lineup.

The London-born, Sydney-raised artist will be stepping in for David Kushner, who had to cancel his Australia tour, bringing an extra dose of musical talent to the festival. Ruel joins a huge festival’s lineup for this year, featuring heavyweights like Post Malone, Dom Dolla, Latto, and Tkay Maidza, among other top-tier acts. Post Malone’s highly anticipated album “AUSTIN” has recently dropped, and Dom Dolla’s meteoric rise shows no signs of slowing down. Latto, the unstoppable force featured on Jung Kook’s “Seven,” and Tkay Maidza, who recently collaborated with Australian legend Flume on “Silent Assassin,” add even more star power to the roster. Spilt Milk will also showcase emerging Australian talent such as Budjerah, Cub Sport, Lastlings, Partiboi69, and Royel Otis, among others, adding to the festival’s brilliance.

The festival will kick off at Canberra’s Exhibition Park on Saturday, November 25, followed by the Gold Coast Sports Precinct on Sunday, November 26. The excitement continues in Ballarat’s iconic Victoria Park on Saturday, December 2, before making its highly anticipated debut on the coastlines of Perth at Claremont Showground on Sunday, December 3.

Spilt Milk unveils its massive 2023 lineup

Ruel is no stranger to breaking records and leaving an indelible mark on the music industry. Since his debut in 2017 at the tender age of fourteen, Ruel has quickly become one of the most influential musicians of his generation. His music has garnered over 2 billion global streams, and he boasts an impressive 1.2 million followers on Instagram.

His journey is studded with groundbreaking achievements, including being the youngest artist ever to win Breakthrough Artist at the ARIA Awards and the youngest musician to sell out the Sydney Opera House not once, but twice.

Earlier this year, Ruel released his highly-anticipated debut studio album, “4TH WALL.” The album is a constellation of fresh and exciting tracks, featuring chart-topping singles like “GROWING UP IS____” and “I DON’T WANNA BE LIKE YOU.”

From his first two EPs, “Ready” and “Free Time,” Ruel delivered Platinum and Double Platinum hits, including “Younger,” “Dazed & Confused,” “Painkiller,” “Real Thing,” and “Face To Face.” He received praise from international media outlets like Nylon, VOGUE, and The Face, earned a co-sign from none other than Elton John, and collaborated with artists like Denzel Curry, Cosmo’s Midnight, and Omar Apollo.

With a successful third EP, “Bright Lights, Red Eyes,” and a hosting stint at the 2022 ARIA Awards under his belt, Ruel continues to evolve as an artist, bringing his defiant lyricism to bigger and brighter moments. His album’s prior singles received coverage from publications like NME, The Music, Coup De Main, and Music Feeds, and received playlisting support from triple j upon release.

Ruel’s debut record, “4TH WALL,” is a testament to vulnerability and raw talent, showcasing his journey into the star-studded stratosphere of contemporary pop.

Spilt Milk is set to be a highlight of the Australian festival calendar, and with Ruel joining the lineup, it promises an unforgettable musical experience for all attendees.
