He was slated to visit this October.
The legendary singer and songwriter, Sir Rod Stewart, has postponed his upcoming Australian tour due to ongoing travel restrictions, border closures and the continued limitations on mass gatherings in Australia.
Originally slated to return to Australia for an eight-date tour across the country in October and November, playing both arenas and a day on the green winery dates, Stewart will now return to the country in March and April 2022.
“Hi guys, Rod Stewart here. I’m so sorry to say my tour this year has been postponed. But I’ll be there in 2022, March and April, and it’s going to be GREAT! Hold on to your tickets,” the legend stated.
Within the tour, Stewart was set to perform for the first time at Mt Duneed Estate in Geelong on Saturday, October 31. This has now been rescheduled to Saturday, March 19 in 2022.
Tickets for all a day on the green performances will be valid for the corresponding rescheduled shows without the need for exchange and ticketholders are encouraged to hold onto their tickets.
Patrons who are unable to attend the new dates can obtain a full refund from their authorised point of purchase. Requests for refunds must be submitted within 30 days from notification.
If you’re yet to buy a ticket, it might be your last chance to see one of the best-selling music acts of all time – an artist with more than 250 million records sold worldwide during a stellar career that includes an incredible 27 Top 40 hits in Australia, including four number one singles, plus seven number one albums.
