Queens Of The Stone Age are bringing their 'The End Is Nero' tour to Australian & New Zealand

In a thunderous declaration, Queens of the Stone Age have officially announced their ‘The End Is Nero’ Summer 2024 Australian and New Zealand tour, marking their triumphant return to Australasia since their last visit in 2018. This monumental tour is set to kick off at the iconic Red Hill Auditorium in Perth on the 10th of February. From there, the Queens will journey to Adelaide, Hobart, Torquay, Melbourne, Sydney, the Gold Coast, and Brisbane, before crossing the Tasman to grace the stages of Auckland and Wellington. The grand finale of their rock odyssey will be in Christchurch on the 3rd of March.

‘The End Is Nero’ tour serves as a raucous celebration of their acclaimed eighth studio album, ‘In Times New Roman…’, which made a thunderous debut at #2 on the ARIA charts and was lauded by NME Australia as “their darkest, knottiest material to date.”

Emerging from the sun-soaked backdrop of 1990s Palm Desert, California, Queens of the Stone Age epitomize what happens when a multidimensional musical entity transcends the very genre it birthed. They’ve proved too prolific, too ambitious, and just too brilliant to be confined within any musical boundaries. The band, led by the enigmatic Joshua Homme, has morphed into the colossal force responsible for chart-toppers like “No One Knows,” “Little Sister,” “My God is the Sun,” “The Way You Used To Do,” and everything in between. They are undeniably rock, but with the visceral energy and dark magic that only Homme and his ensemble can summon.

Regularly anointed as one of the paramount live acts, Queens of the Stone Age is an ensemble comprised of Joshua Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore. What started as “generator parties” in the desert has evolved into sold-out arenas and headlining the main stage at your favourite summer festival. The End Is Nero tour promises to be a spectacle that should not be missed.
