The stage is an exciting inclusion this year, celebrating first nations artists both established and emerging.
Running from March 11 through March 14, PFFF, in its 45th year, will see the usual big-name line-up that you have come to expect from one of the country’s most exciting festivals, to work in concert with a celebration of indigenous talent.

Taking to the inaugural Archie Roach Foundation Stage at the festival will be the likes of Kutcha Edwards, Emma Donovan, Shellie Morris, The Merindas, Amos Roach, Kee’ahn Lauch, MRLN X RK, the Singing Our Futures collective, J-MILLA and Black Rock Band.
The stage wont just be limited to music, with Uncle Archie also hosting his ‘Kitchen Table Yarn’ at the festival with a number of special guests.
“For me personally, it’s huge,” Uncle Archie says. “I was taken away as a child from my mother’s country when I was just two years old. To return to my community and be able to present our culture on the Archie Roach Foundation Stage would not have happened if I had not found my way back to my people.
“The local Maar Nation community have programmed the stage and we can’t wait to present this exceptional moment. I am very grateful to both RISE and Port Fairy Folk Festival for getting behind this initiative.”
PFFF which takes place on Peek Whurrong country will also celebrate over 60,000 years of local Maar Nation culture with traditional dance, art and song writing workshops, conversations and a yarning circle across the 4-day event.
The amazing line-up of other artists you will find scattered throughout the festival include Ash Grunwald, The Pierce Brothers, Tracy Mcneil and the Goodlife, Bob Evans, Emily Barker, Jodie Lane, Kerryn Fields, the Paper Kites, Elephant Sessions, Emma Swift, Maple Glider, the Weeping Willows and many more.
