Pop icons Aqua headline huge Australian 90s tour this March

Get ready to dust off those glow sticks and relive the magic of the 90s with Aqua and their stellar lineup of special guests.

The iconic Danish-Norwegian pop sensation of the 90s, Aqua, is set to ignite a nostalgic flame as they headline a massive tour across Australia this March. Brace yourselves for a trip down memory lane with special guests 2 Unlimited, East 17, Phats & Small, Big Brovaz, Booty Luv, and Urban Cookie Collective joining the party.

The tour will kick off at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on the 21st of March, followed by Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on the 22nd of March, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on the 24th of March, Adelaide Entertainment Centre on the 26th of March, and concluding at Perth’s RAC Arena on the 28th of March.

Returning to Australia for the first time since 2018, Aqua, the pop-dance phenomenon, promises an electrifying performance. With their chart-topping hits like ‘Barbie Girl,’ ‘Doctor Jones,’ and ‘Lollipop (Candyman),’ Aqua has amassed a combined 597 million streams on Spotify, solidifying their place in the pop hall of fame. Their recent collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice on the Barbie movie soundtrack has already reached an impressive 397 million streams.

The stellar line-up doesn’t stop there. Belgian-Dutch electronic dance duo 2 Unlimited, known for hits like ‘Get Ready,’ ‘Twilight Zone,’ and ‘No Limit,’ will be bringing their infectious beats to the stage.

Joining the nostalgia trip, English boy band East 17, famed for tracks like ‘Stay Another Day’ and ‘House Of Love,’ will add a romantic touch with their unique blend of pop and hip-hop. With eighteen top 20 singles and four top 10 albums, East 17 is sure to serenade fans.

Big Brovaz, a favourite R&B Hip Hop act from the UK, and British Dance Music Group Booty Luv, formed by Big Brovaz members Cherise Roberts and Nadia Shepherd, will contribute to the eclectic mix. Booty Luv, with five top 20 hits in the UK, has previously toured Australia with S Club 7 members.

The British electronic dance duo Phats & Small, alongside the Eurodance sensation Urban Cookie Collective, will ensure the audience dances the night away.
