A Taste of Europe in Geelong

Nicu is on a mission to create a cosy space with homey service that brings the essence of Rome to the heart of Geelong. While they’re preparing for their grand opening, they’re teaming up with specialty coffee powerhouse, Market Lane Coffee, to provide Geelong residents with a sneak peek of what’s to come.

On Saturday, October 28, they’ll be serving up European summer vibes, with gorgeously brewed coffee from their friends at Market Lane, scrumptious donuts from Shortstop Melbourne, and a delectable selection of Eurocentric flavours, including tortilla de patatas and tarte tatin. The perfect way to satisfy your European food cravings right here in Geelong.

The weather forecast for the weekend is looking divine, so it’s an ideal time to come down to Union Street Wine (always a good time) and enjoy the day. DJs will be providing the beats, and starting from 12pm, Lincoln will be serving up some irresistible espresso martinis. What more could you ask for on a Saturday?

Nicu is all about sustainability, and their seasonal menu reflects that commitment. They’re dedicated to reducing landfill and are making use of locally sourced ingredients to create delicious dishes like tarte tatin. Those tomatoes destined for the bin? They’re now transformed into a beautiful tarte tatin.

Nicu plans to stay open a bit later when they officially open their doors, giving you the chance to recharge or hang out with friends. But for now, show them some love at their pop-up event on October 28th, this Saturday, from 10am to 2pm.

If you’re in the mood for some damn good coffee, Shortstop donuts, tantalising brunch treats, great music courtesy of a DJ, and even espresso martinis, Nicu has got your Saturday needs sorted.

So mark it on your calendar, gather your friends, and head over to Union Street Wine Bar this Saturday. Keep up with the latest from Nicu here.
