Wine Geelong is hosting a Summer Wine Celebration at the Wineries this February.
Start planning for a weekend of delicious wine, food and live music as you explore some of the region’s best local wineries and wine bars across Geelong with Wine Geelong’s brand new event, Summer Wine Celebration.
Taking over our vibrant region from Friday February 3rd to Sunday February 5th, Summer Wine Celebration has been designed as a fun regional event showcasing delicious local wines perfect for summer drinking – sparkling, whites, rosé, and light reds.

Featuring ten great events including interactive masterclasses, exclusive lunches, garden parties and everything in between, all events will be held at participating wineries and wine bars across the Geelong region for one weekend only.
If you’re looking for a masterclass session, Provenance Wines will be hosting a summer wine masterclass plus lunch, Scotchmans Hill will be putting on a Chardonnay Masterclass led by chief winemaker Robin Brockett, while Barwon Ridge will host both a Marsanne Masterclass in the Historic Neuchatel Cellar and a White Wine Masterclass at the old shed at Barwon Ridge.
If you’re looking for a more low-key tasting experience, Oakdene will be hosting seated tasting experience inside the cellar door for guests to create their own selection of premium wine samples to try from the entire range, or head on over to Terindah for a specially curated cheese and museum wine tasting with live music.
For a lavish lunch experience, Scotchmans Hill see Executive Chef Hamish Hames and Chief Winemaker Robin Brockett collaborating to bring guests a four course summer menu that matches a range of current and exclusively selected Cellar Reserve wines. This special event is $95 per person including four course meal and matching wines.
A real highlight will be Love Bubble at Austin’s Wines on Saturday, February 4 – a Sparkling Summer event you won’t want to miss. Prosecco and cocktails will be flowing, DJ’s are spinning the decks all day and night, while delicious food by Nama will be available to purchase, and Hey Flossy will set up an incredible chill out zone. Kids aren’t forgotten either – there will be fairy floss by Luna Hire and a fabulous Bubble Bar. And the best part, bus transfers are available from Geelong Station so you don’t have to worry about getting there and back.

Rounding out the summer program, Mt Duneed Estate will be hosting Australia’s pre-eminent wine and comedy festival Grapes of Mirth, while Archive Wine Bar are putting on a Summer of Riesling & Aromatic Whites Garden Party.
This is the latest wine-infused event to join the Wine Geelong lineup, alongside the likes of popular events Pinot Affair, Winter Shiraz Festival and Toast to the Coast.
