Queens of the Stone Age’s headliner appearance is part of their ‘The End Is Nero’ Summer 2024 Australian and New Zealand tour, marking their triumphant return to Australasia after a six-year hiatus. The ‘The End is Nero’ tour is in support of their acclaimed eighth studio album, ‘In Times New Roman…’, which stormed the ARIA charts at #2. NME Australia hailed it as “their darkest, knottiest material to date.” Queens of the Stone Age invite everyone to join in this rock extravaganza, celebrating the impending end of the world, which, according to them, might be “in a month or two.” It’s an inclusive gathering, welcoming all, where judgment is left at the door, and attendees are encouraged to bring everything else.

The Spiderbait saga is a fantastical tale rooted in reality. Three friends from a small Australian town embarked on an independent journey through the music scene, emerging triumphant 25 years later, with their friendships intact and their band among the nation’s biggest and best. Brash, confident, strange, and uncompromising, Spiderbait’s founders, Janet, Whitt, and Kram, drew inspiration from an eclectic mix of influences, from Slayer to The Bangles, creating an intoxicating and unique blend.

The Chats, as bold as they are humorous, have evolved into one of the world’s greatest post-millennial punk-rock groups. Emerging from Australia’s Sunshine Coast, they’ve reconnected popular music with its raw rock ‘n’ roll roots and made an immediate connection with youthful audiences worldwide. Their 2017 hit, ‘Smoko,’ was just the beginning of their high-energy, full-throttle musical journey.

Pond, a band formed in the early 2010s, brings their distinctive brand of music to the LOOKOUT Festival. Known for their impressive eight studio albums, Pond’s music is a blend of creativity and spontaneity that captivates audiences. Their most recent release, in 2021, showcases their prowess in channelling anarchic uncertainty into their music.

Gut Health, driven by a relentless rhythm section, angular guitars, synthesizers, and Athina Uh Oh’s charismatic vocals, deliver a live performance filled with unfiltered theatrics and infectious grooves. Merging punk, jazz, and influences from queer rave culture, they create a unique mix of danceable art-pop and post-punk.

Lola Scott, having spent a year touring with renowned acts, is set to launch a new era with her single ‘High School Drama,’ featuring lo-fi distorted guitars and an infectious energy that adds depth to her rock-inspired alt-pop style.

Please note that all events are strictly for those aged 18 and over. General Public on-sale will kick off on Monday, 30th October at 1.00 pm local time. Find out more here
