“This one is for the lovers out there. I wanted to create a track that would give the feeling of holding your soulmate close under the covers whilst an ominous storm erupts all around,” Talisman says.
An artist-to-watch, Mike Talisman has been writing and performing music since a very young age, joining his first band at age 12 after being inspired by his father’s outstanding record collection.
Growing up in the countryside at the base of the Grampians Mountain Ranges had a profound impact on Talisman and his writing. The troubadour eventually moved to Melbourne at age 18 to pursue his musical career.
It wasn’t until 2022 that Mike Talisman truly found himself and his voice through his debut single, ‘Due Time’. The heartbreaking single tells the story of the day Talisman lost his father. The single was aired on over 300 radio stations worldwide and quickly garnered over 10k streams. It has since received coverage via AAA Backstage, Countrytown, Australian Music Scene and many more, whilst gaining traction on dozens of Spotify playlists.
Talisman recently headed back into the studio with ARIA award winning producer Troy Brady (Amity Affliction) to record his new single.
