After dazzling audiences worldwide, the global sensation will be touring across Victoria and the ACT in April, with tickets on sale now.
Produced by the same masterminds behind Shrek The Musical and Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat, this Showcase Entertainment Group production is directed by Nick Wilkinson, with a book by Kevin Del Aguila and music and lyrics by George Noriega and Joel Someillan.
The musical follows New York’s biggest star, Alex the lion, and his best friends—Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippo—as they leave their pampered lives at Central Park Zoo and are whisked away to the wild jungles of Madagascar. As chaos, comedy, and high-energy antics unfold, they meet a cast of unforgettable characters, including the flamboyant King Julien, whose infectious energy will have everyone dancing in their seats.
With breathtaking Broadway-style staging, dazzling costumes, show-stopping choreography, and an electrifying soundtrack, Madagascar The Musical is a must-see theatrical spectacle this school holiday season.
Don’t miss the chance to see this larger-than-life adventure live on stage.
