Rocketing to the Kinetic Stadium in Frankston this New Years Eve is the Lucky Day Out festival, featuring some of the best local and international talent in the electronic space. It’s one of the biggest festivals to hit the Peninsula this December, featuring some amazing international performers.
Like all good festivals in this post-covid world, Lucky Day Out features some cool global megastars alongside local legends, you can bring the 2023 in with a bang with music from Kid Ink, Tigerlily, Joel Fletcher, and many more.
“There’s a great line-up of acts, including international headliner Kid Ink, and the view of Frankston foreshore at Kinetic Stadium feels like the perfect backdrop for a New Years Eve festival,” Lucky Entertainment director Luke Udorovic notes.

The maiden festival is set to delight many music fans across the state and on the Mornington Peninsula, with Luke Udorovic adding; “It’s really exciting to be bringing a major festival to the Frankston area on New Years Eve, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with the Frankston City Council to bring the event to life.”
To top off the festival, the Kinetic Stadium will feature some food trucks, it’s bound to be an enjoyable way to party 2022 away. Let’s dive into who’ll be joining you for Lucky Day Out 2022.

Kid Ink
Kid Ink is quickly becoming a big thing in the world of rap, working on music with fellow icons like Fetty Wap, Akon, Omarion, Ty Dolla Sign, and Usher, among many more. He’ll be heading Down Under for the first time this December, after the release of his 2021 hit record, Alive.
Joel Fletcher
Headlining alongside Kid Ink will be popular Australian DJ Joel Fletcher. Fletcher shot to fame with his remix of Savage’s hit Swing, which was bound to be a track that was blasted at your high school disco. This year, he’s dropped three tracks, with Let’s Trot hitting the number 26 spot on the charts, and getting Gold Status. He’s a must-see on this year’s lineup.
Tigerlily
Popular DJ Tigerlily is yet another Australian icon making their way to Frankston for the Lucky Day festival. This comes a few years after her 2015 hit single Paradise, and her 2017 track Ashes. About her inclusion, Tigerlily notes “I’m super excited to be playing at Lucky Day Out Frankston. 2022 has been an amazing year and I can’t wait to end the year with a bang!”
Rockafellas
The self-proclaimed world’s oldest rocking DJs are heading to Frankston this New Years Eve. They’ve played some of the biggest festivals across the nation, and have delighted many fans with their unique live show. The pair are bound to set the Lucky Festival into the next gear when they hit the stage this month.
Orkestrated
Orkestrated have been a staple of the scene for a whopping two decades, finding many fans with their original style. With broad influences growing up, you can hear a variety of different styles within their music, making them an awesome pair to catch in a live setting.
Brynny
In some exciting news, Frankston’s own Brynny will be sharing the stage alongside these electronic and rap heavyweights. Brynny’s been quickly finding many fans across the country, so make sure you catch them now before they are selling out arenas. About being apart of the lineup, Brynny notes: “I’m so excited to be playing at lucky day out in Frankston this New Year’s Eve because I finally have the chance to bring in the new year in my hometown with some of my oldest friends, plus I’m so excited that Frankston finally is getting an event like this!”
Other groups and artists involved in the Lucky Day festival 2022 include Chris Holding, Cody Thorne, Craig Miller, Damang, David James, Dazzle, DJ Oz, Dysed, Inga, Jay Broome, Jay Knight, Justin Morgan, Jxel, Kleisha, Llorrac, Marco K, Matty Mayne, Max Stevens, Mitchy, Riley Mac, Shanley Thompson, and Sonic Coombe.
You can catch all these artists at the Kinetic Stadium on Saturday December 31, with things kicking off from 6pm, and playing through until 2023.
