Marriott started his journey on YouTube in 2012 and now has a dedicated global fanbase around the world who tune in to enjoy his musical talent, with over 20 million streams across his tracks.
Recently, James performed at The Great Escape festival in the UK and released his debut EP, ‘Bitter Tongues’. This meticulously crafted collection of songs showcases Marriott’s depth and artistry.
‘Bitter Tongues’ draws inspiration from artists like Phoebe Bridgers, The Strokes, and The 1975, resulting in a genre-inclusive theatrical music piece. The EP fearlessly explores heartbreak, sexuality, love, and the challenges of a creative identity in the age of social media.
