1997 saw the stunning arrival of Taxiride, four young Melbourne musicians with vocal harmonies reminiscent of 60s bands Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and The Beatles, who were to dominate Australian radio for the next 5 years and become one of Australia’s biggest musical exports for the 1990’s & 2000s

Crafted over two years in Melbourne and Los Angeles, their debut album ‘Imaginate’ took the Australian Music Charts by storm, claiming the coveted Number 1 spot and leaving fans craving more. And more they got, with four hit singles, including the unforgettable ‘Get Set’ and the radio-favorite ‘Everywhere You Go’ (seriously, you couldn’t turn on the radio in 2000 without hearing it!).

But the ride didn’t stop there. Taxiride’s second album, ‘Garage Mahal,’ propelled them even further into the limelight with their massive hit ‘Creepin’ Up Slowly’ dominating the airwaves in 2002. The song was an absolute earworm, and it seemed like everyone was singing along. The band’s popularity reached new heights, earning them a spot in the Top 30 charts in the States and taking them on tour across the US, Japan, and Europe.

Though two more albums would follow in 2005 and 2006, Taxiride would ultimately call it quits in 2008, reuniting in 2015, older, wiser, and more mature as musicians and friends, treating fans to a limited run of incredible shows.

And now, they’re back, performing with an altered lineup of founding members Tim Watson and Tim Wild on guitar and vocals, drummer Sean McLeod, bassist Andrew McIvor, and Taylor Sheridan, and without founding lead vocalist and guitarist Jason Singh, ready to set the stage on fire with their new live performances.

Get ready for a night of nostalgia as they deliver faithful renditions of their classic hits and showcase their favourite album tracks.
