The gold mine that is the Golden Plains Sweet Sixteen lineup has officially dropped.
Golden Plains, one of the most loved events on the Australian festival calendar, is back, announcing its highly-anticipated lineup for 2024 for its sweet sixteen. Taking place over March 9, 10 and 11, the stunning return to the amphitheatre will feature the likes of The Streets, King Stingray, Regurgitator, Boris, RVG, Yussef Dayes and Soju Gang all sharing one stage of golden treasury. It’s a lineup of encyclopaedic delights, mornings, noons and nights.
Golden Plains Festival is held on the family property of one of the festival’s organisers, a farm complete with a Ferris wheel, an Ecoplex Cinema and the extremely popular Pink Flamingo Bar. With only one stage, so no timetable clashes, Golden Plains Festival is known primarily for its great music and great culture – the reason that we love the Melbourne music scene so much in the first place.

“Two days and two nights at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre, with controls set to Premium Mode,” Aunty Meredith shared.
“The Sup’ has been designed and refined over 30‑odd years for the sole purpose of hosting Something Truly Remarkable. It’s one of the best places on earth to spend a long weekend with friends and lovers – finding yourself, losing yourself and losing yourself again.”

Much like Meredith Music Festival, the great majority of tickets to Golden Plains will be available via the Subscriber Ticket Ballot, before they go on public sale. If you were already a ticket subscriber, good news: you get to enter the first round of the ballot. If you haven’t yet subscribed, there’s still a chance to do so in order to enter the second round.
Following two ballot rounds, keen punters still have to chance to buy tickets through the online sales and Aunty’s Last Chance, but let’s be real: you’d be a fool not to enter the ballot.
The Second Round of the Ballot is open now until 10:16pm Monday 23 October (AEDT).
Try your luck at the ballot by heading here.
