The charming indie-folk duo The Dreggs are gearing up for an even bigger 2024, announcing their debut album, album launch shows and the promise of an album tour.
After an absolutely mammoth summer, Australian indie-folk sensations The Dreggs are set to hit Torquay later this year as they launch their debut album, Caught in a Reverie. The Sunshine Coast duo, comprised of Paddy Macrae and Zane Harris, will be gracing the stage at Torquay Hotel on Wednesday, 1st May, as part of a small run of limited capacity album launch shows.
The duo will kick off the album launch tour on the Gold Coast on April 26, before heading to Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Torquay and finishing up in Melbourne on 2 May.

Hailing from the idyllic shores of the Sunshine Coast, The Dreggs bring a unique blend of indie-folk and roots music infused with a coastal vibe that’s sure to get your toes tapping. Their latest single, “Places,” recently made waves on Triple J, paving the way for the eagerly anticipated release of “Caught in a Reverie” on April 26th, 2024. Featuring twelve tracks brimming with heart and soul, this album is set to be a game-changer for the dynamic duo.
Since their inception in 2017, Paddy and Zane have captivated audiences with their train-like guitar melodies, enchanting finger-picking, and smooth harmonies. Inspired by the ocean that surrounds them, The Dreggs’ music is a testament to the beauty of their coastal upbringing, with themes of growth and mental health awareness woven into the fabric of their songs.
The party kicks off early at 7:30 pm, and to whet your appetite, the venue’s restaurant will be dishing up delicious $22 parmis.
