Flying Brick Cider Co brings you a taste of regality with the return of High Cheese

Words by Alice Ruby McDonald

I’ve spent my afternoon coming up with cheese puns for this, I really am forever provolone.

Flying Brick Cider Co sure knows how to put on an event that’s for sure. They’ve made the humble combination of those delicate pastry stands with cute little decorations and people with the pinkies up with hard-core oozing goodness that is: cheese.

And if it’s one thing our Forte readers love, is cheese.

Returning from its summer holiday, High Cheese is back at Flying Brick from Monday to Friday, 11am to 5pm.

A collab with Yes Said The Seal wines, they’ve got everything cheese galore plus some good booze to wash it down. This is one hell of a royal feast for the greater Gouda of Flying Brick fans.

Everything on the menu looks Mozzer-hella good including Truffle baked camembert (gf), Pyengana blue cheese soufflé, apple butter, Meredith’s goats cheese, quince, candied walnuts (gf), House made sheep’s labne, fasties honey (gf), Oven baked Gourgeres and some sweet options like Whipped ricotta and white chocolate mousse, season’s best fruit, langues du chat (gfa).

Plus, free-flowing Julius Meinl barista coffee and hot chocolate and LOVE Tea loose leaf infusions of choice.

This spectacular event will be running Monday to Friday with options ranging from $65, $80 and $95 for two with the higher two options including alcohol but whichever option you go for it’s certain to be legendairy.

Now, I promise no more puns, I’m no muenster.

Book in your high cheese lunch date here. If you’re feeling generous, surprise a loved one with an egift card for High Cheese.

Flying Brick Cider Co is located at 1251 – 1269 Bellarine Hwy Wallington.
