Ed Sheeran’s ‘Full Circle’ tour documentary to premiere on Australian TV tonight

'Full Circle' will premiere on Channel 9 at 9:15pm tonight, Thursday, November 24 featuring footage from the popstar's 'Mathematics' world tour.

A highly-anticipated documentary chronicling Ed Sheeran’s worldwide ‘Mathematics’ tour is set to premiere on Australian TV tonight, gifting music lovers a behind-the-scenes and exclusive look at the ins and out of the singer’s tour.

With full access backstage and onstage, Ed and his team pull off a truly ambitious, immersive experience and deliver a performance of a lifetime.

Watch the world premiere this Thu 24 Nov (tonight) at 9:15pm (after the ARIA Awards) on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Featuring footage from multiple shows on the singer’s tour in support of his four equation named albums, the film will largely focus on Sheeran’s Mathematics concert at London’s Wembley Stadium earlier this year, featuring hits such as PerfectSing and Castle on the Hill along with new songs. It also goes behind the scenes and delves into what it takes to pull off the impossible tour.

Speaking of Full Circle, Mushroom Group CEO Matt Gudinski, who also co-produced the documentary, claims it a must-see for any Ed Sheeran or live music fan.

“This tour brings to life one of, if not the biggest and most complex touring productions ever. Full Circle takes you behind the scenes and gives you an exclusive look at how Ed and his team have pulled this spectacular show together and delivered the fans an amazing live experience,” Gudinski says.

“I simply can’t wait for Australian fans to see the Mathematics tour in 2023. This is a must-watch for any Ed Sheeran or live music fan.”

It’ll give Aussie fans a sneak peak of his tour that kicks off in February 2023 in Brisbane, where he’ll be joined by special guests Maisie Peters and Budjerah for all concerts.

In 2021, Sheeran cancelled his world tour just four weeks before his first concert after he tested positive for covid. This new tour will be his first time back in Australia since his 2018 Divide Tour, which broke ticket-selling records.

Tune into Channel 9 or 9Now after the ARIAs on Thursday 24 November (around 9.15pm) to watch Ed Sheeran: Full Circle.
