For simply a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going back into the Friends of Anglesea River work, all are welcome to take part in an intimate, creative gathering that celebrates expression, connection, and the beauty of words.

This evening promises an open and inclusive space where you can share your voice—whether through reading an original poem, reciting a favorite work by another poet, or just coming to enjoy the experience. There’s no pressure to perform; it’s all about creating a welcoming environment where everyone can engage with poetry in their own way.

The setting by the river offers a serene backdrop for reflection and inspiration, making it the perfect place to unwind and connect with others. You might find the sound of the water flowing, the rustle of the trees, and the crisp winter air add an extra layer of magic to the evening.

Come along, meet like-minded individuals, and immerse yourself in the power of poetry. Whether you’re reading, listening, or both, the evening promises to be a celebration of creativity and community.

So mark your calendars for 30 January, and come visit the river for a night you won’t forget. See you there!
